Debating  Programs

While our focus is on advanced debating, we know exceptional development starts with a solid foundation. In this batch, we start from the very basics: the mindset debating requires, an introduction to formats, how to structure a speech, and preparation for your first tournament. Don't mistake "beginner" for "easy" — this batch is as rigorous as intermediate-level programs at most other academies. Several students from this batch have gone on to reach the national camp, including one who became a member of the Indian National Development Team. By the time you finish, you'll be ready to compete at a high level. Class timings are fixed, but we're available to support you beyond scheduled hours whenever you need it. To keep attention genuinely personal, this batch is limited to 10 students, selected first-come, first-served.

We're committed to helping every student in this program reach their full potential — and that means going beyond scheduled training. We help students find the right teammates, recommend the tournaments worth their time, and stay involved across every stage of their debating journey, not just the classroom hours. This batch is capped at 20 students, selected through a rigorous process each April. Past students from this batch have gone on to national camps and national teams.

Debating is a direct expression of critical thinking — but critical thinking doesn't come naturally to most students, and conventional education often suppresses it further. This program is built to reverse that. Trainers observe how each student responds to a challenge, track their reactions, and pinpoint exactly where their thinking needs work. Students in this program have shown exceptional progress in as little as 6 to 8 months. For students based in Mumbai, offline sessions are available — and parents are welcome to observe.

This is the most accelerated path we offer. Can a middle schooler really go up against elite university teams in Europe and North America — Ivy League opponents included — and win? In the Pro-AM program, that's exactly what happens. While other teams show up fully prepared, our lead coach Anshuman enters every tournament with just one student — no full team behind them. Despite that, they consistently outperform some of the strongest teams in the world. The logic is simple: theory only takes a debater so far. Real growth happens when you're debating alongside your coach, not just being coached by one. Pro-AM pairs a coach and student as a team, competing in elite offline tournaments across India and online tournaments globally — not just to win, but to learn from every round.
